In regards to the commentary below, I agree and disagree to some extent with both sides.  Nevertheless, to see young black men, and women for that matter, graduating from college brings me joy, and they deserve our sincerest congratulations and utmost respect.

Please research the statistics of OUR beautiful black men being incarcerated or killed vs going to college AND graduating. Then you can come back to my blog and tell me why we shouldn’t rejoice in their success. Other than that no commentary needed from non-blacks on this subject.
